The Green Pass obligation strengthened does not apply to flights (and in general to transport) international but only to flights connecting Italian cities (national flights, for example Rome – Milan).
How do you get the Enhanced Green Pass?
It is obtained following vaccination, recovery or a single dose of vaccine following recovery if:
you have two doses of vaccine (or 1 dose if Johnson & Johnson vaccine or following recovery from covid-19), and the second dose was administered in the last 9 months; recovered from covid-19 in the last 6 months; the third dose/booster dose has been received.
And on a practical level? You don't need to do anything, the QR code will remain the same as the basic green pass, the reading mode of the verification app will change.
NB Remember that a certificate confirming the administration of the first dose of the two-dose vaccine (second dose awaiting administration) however, it is not sufficient for the purpose of entering Italy from abroad. For more information on the Green Pass: https://www.dgc.gov.it/web/
